Toy Story’s Jessie [Midlothian Mines Park: Richmond VA Photographer]

A tiny Toy Story’s Jessie, a mini session and a little girl’s birthday photos-take 2. And, who doesn’t love cute curls and Toy Story?

After the rains came and left, we were able to get this mini session in last Sunday. I always try to schedule a potential rain-date when doing on location sessions because the weather doesn’t always cooperate with our plans. Though I could have shot in the sprinkling rain (I came equipped with a pretty umbrella just in case!), that isn’t always the best choice for all involved. Of course, I didn’t think this little sweetheart would want to get wet, and I was right. So on to our rain date it was. Thankfully, that date hadn’t been booked and I was able to change my plans for the day.

I met “Cowgirl Jessie” last year during a senior session for her sister.  From that time until now, we’ve been looking forward to this day. Some of my favorites are these. And, by the way, I’m booking CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS NOW!

When~ Saturday Nov 9th,  9:30-Noon  ROUND 2.  Saturday Nov, 16th 10:00-noon

Who~ anyone who books, no limits!

How much?  Only $15 per person in the photo!

Which Disney Princess? [Midlothian VA Children’s Photographer]

Mom sent me an idea for her little girl’s session, and I couldn’t wait to give it my touch. I love spending even just a little while with this sweet Princess. She’s as intelligent as she is witty and as well spoken as she is beautiful. Of course, what little princess wouldn’t want to showcase her Disney Princess dress repertoire in photos? I laughed out loud as we were taking a couple pictures with her mom in them and she said, “Then JUST ME!”  Yes, soon, Princess!

This was a mini session, and even with walking around and setting up in three-or four- different spots, we only shot for 30 minutes. It’s what I love about minis with the minis. Great images and everyone stays happy!

When:  SATURDAY, October 13 (rain date Oct 14)  10:00-5:30*

Time: I know you’re busy!!  You’ll be 3o minutes from out of the car to back on the road again!

Who:  families, couples, maternity or children (if you want to bring props, just let me know; I love them!)

What: You will receive the best  7 images in a digital album from which you can download, save and print.

Cost: Mini Sessions are $250.  Book in SEPTEMBER  and save $100!  *spaces are limited

Home Decorating [Midlothian VA Photographer]

It’s true, there’s no way possible that my house will remain tidy for longer time than it takes me to wak from one room to the next. Tried and proven.  As we prepare to start another year of school here at home, we do the annual clean-up, purge and reorganize thing.  Within the first 15 minutes of attack mode, I had moved more toys (and rocks, as it were) from places where I’d never dreamed they’d show up. I stopped any hope of progress and snapped a couple of photos. He’s pretty creative in the home decorating genre, too, don’t you think?
